Make a Splash Movie (5)

Flipper, Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010, at 1 p.m.!

The Summer Reading Program is finally drawing to a close, and we're sad to see it go. For the last movie in the "Make a Splash" movie series, we will be showing the classic "Flipper" on Tuesday, August 3rd, at 1 p.m.

"Sandy Ricks is sent by his mom to Coral Key, a rustic island in the Florida keys, to spend the summer with his uncle Porter Ricks. Sandy dislikes everything about his new environment until a new friend comes into his life, a dolphin named Flipper, that brings uncle and nephew together and leads Sandy on the summer adventure of a lifetime. "

There is no sign up to attend the movie, but we do encourage any kids signed up with the Summer Reading Program to attend! There is limited seating however, so make sure to arrive at least fifteen minutes early. This film is rated PG for for mild language and and mild violence.
