The Time Traveler's Wife, Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 12:10 pm!
To kick off March Movie Madness, Brown Library will be showing the hit book-to-movie adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger. The Time Traveler's Wife is a 2009 film based on Audrey Niffenegger's 2003 novel of the same name. The film is directed by Robert Schwentke and stars Eric Bana and Rache McAdams. Based on the premise of The Time Traveler's Wife, Chicago librarian Henry (Bana) has a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel randomly. Though he often disappears from her life for long periods of time, he tries to build a romantic relationship with Clare, an artist (McAdams). Wonderfully romantic, this film is for anyone who believes love can cross all boundaries.
The movie will begin at 12:10 pm, and as always, make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early, as our seating is limited!
